The instructor who teaches most of our beginners
Jeevan has been teaching kitesurfing since 2018 and running the kite school at Valampuri since 2019. In that time he has coached more than 500 students on Kalpitiya Lagoon — from people who had never held a kite to riders leaving with their first independent runs and an IKO certificate.
He is IKO-certified and heads the school's day-to-day teaching: reading the daily wind window, matching riders to the right spot, and running the walkie-talkie coaching that gets beginners riding faster on flat water. When conditions shift, he is the one deciding whether it is a lagoon lesson day or a boat trip to one of the outer spots.
