Kalpitiya Lagoon provides a safe environment with shallow and flat water, which is ideal for faster progress in kitesurfing. Our IKO instructors know the Kalpitiya kitesurfing lagoon very well and keep a close eye on you, holding on to you until they are satisfied that you can kitesurf freely on the Kalpitiya lagoon. Upon completion of your kitesurfing course, you will receive your IKO Kitesurfing card, and we will register you on the IKO database. The card allows you to rent equipment not only in Sri Lanka but worldwide.
